Case Study – Kingston Lacy House

Ferris Painting Contractors was procured by The National Trust to undertake the external redecoration & repair to Kingston Lacy House in Dorset – a Stately Home, along with the redecoration of 3 National Trust cottages located within the estate.

Ferris Painting has a successful track record of working with the National Trust and had previously demonstrated that our management and staff can work in a sensitive and considerate manner when working on a Building of National importance whilst working within the immediate vicinity of the General Public.

The project involved the external redecoration and repair to Kingston Lacy House

What did Ferris achieve?
A safely executed project – Kingston Lacy House and gardens were open to the General Public between the hours of 10.00 am and 5 pm daily, and safe working practice was paramount when working in their vicinity.

A well-executed project ensuring the key tasks – scaffolding /decoration/repair were performed to a tight schedule and programme in order to avoid contact with the General Public.

Enabled Kingston Lacy House to remain open/operational whilst the works were undertaken.

How did Ferris help?
Ferris Management and Staff worked closely with the National Trust and Kingston Lacy Staff in order to carefully plan and execute the works to ensure that the House remained fully operational during Opening hours.
