The system defines the processes that control matters relating to quality of service provided to customers and the company’s commitment is demonstrated by the compliance with the documented procedures. Further-more, the company is committed to continually improving its performance and to facilitate this sets, measures and monitors quality objectives.
This integrated Quality Management System is not “free-standing”- it is an integral part of the Company’s overall compliance strategy that includes Health & Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Employment and Customer Relation Policy. Our IMS and related Procedures are stringently assessed by External Auditors – URS – to ensure compliance across the board.

Health and Safety at Ferris
Ferris Painting Contractors regard the management of Health and Safety as an integral part of its business and as a management priority. It is the Company’s policy that all activities and work must be carried out in a safe manner to protect the health, safety and welfare of Ferris employees and others who may be affected by our activities.
We have an exemplary record which we are keen to maintain and we address H&S in a positive and proactive way eliminating hazards and risk where we can, whilst effectively managing any unavoidable hazards through safe working practices.
Our target is for zero accidents and zero work-related ill health to be achieved by applying current best practice in health and safety management. Compliance with current health and safety legislation is therefore regarded as the absolute minimum standard acceptable.
Effective management of health and safety is seen as an integral part of the efficient management of the Company’s activities, and is considered a crucial factor when developing the professional culture of the Company and establishing and maintaining a solid reputation with all of our clients.
Ferris Painting address H&S on a contract by contract basis subject to ongoing guidelines/regulations. The Company has been accredited by ‘CHAS’ and ‘Safe Contractor’ and is supported by an Integrated Quality Management System incorporating ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 which provides a structure to aid the effective management of Company H&S.
Our Management Team has undertaken CITB management training courses and refresher courses as necessary. We can therefore help you achieve your H&S & CDM obligations.
